Video beam laser only generates thermal impact to a quite small area when it is applied to skin, and keeps some skin free from any influence. It can remove pigmentations when applied to the skin tissue, and meanwhile stimulate the regeneration of collagen. Skin tissues without functions may serve as thermal diffusion area to avoid possible side effects, such as heat injury and it can promote healing of skin faster at the same time.

1) No inflammations in the treatment area;

2) Patients suffering coagulopathy or physical scar cannot accept the therapy;

3) People with sunshine irradiation or to accept sunshine exposure recently are not recommended to accept the therapy;

4) Patients applying various chemical medicines, makeup including hg, ph, etc. or suffering chloasma are recommended to receive video beam or other therapies;

5) Patients suffering severe chloasma may apply quinhydrone agents in the parts with macula at least one month before surgery.

6) Avoid taking aspirin and the like one week before receiving laser treatment.

Attentions after treatment:

1) Slight red and tumefaction in skin on the treatment day, which will disappear in about 24h.

2) Washing face and doing makeup is OK on the second day after treatment, but scab parts should be protected as much as possible.

3) Quite thin scab will appear in the original parts after treatment, which will come off completely in about 5-7 days.

4) It is best for scads to come off naturally. Do not scratch scads with hands randomly to avoid scars and pigmentation;

5) Some patients may have temporary depigmentation or pigmentation and will gradually resume normal state. The recovery time will vary for different people.

6) In case of more severe pigmentation or spots during therapy, patients may be halted with the therapy for a while. Generally pigmentation or severe spots may fade away in 3-6 months.

7) Swimming, sauna, and excessive exercise are forbidden within one week after therapy.

8) Pay attention to sun block after scads, and apply pastes or products (growth factor and Vitamin C) according to doctors’s advice.

9) Patients should be informed of best effects of video beam laser comes after the second and third course of therapy.
